THE TASK AHEAD

Today, we went to Bromsgrove, a town about 8 miles away, to go shopping. FOOD SHOPPING! Which is NOT my favorite kind of shopping!

Whilst at the shop, we decided to buy a little pack of cheap rolls.

WE KNEW WHAT TASK WAS AHEAD OF US!

Boat and Railway Pub, Stoke Works

So here we sat trying to enjoy the peace and quiet and all the sudden…

…HERE THEY ALL COME!

I’m telling you, these ducks must have bionic hearing! We opened the pack of bread and they were quite a ways up the canal! It was a bit scary, as one of the smaller ducks looked like he was running on the water. He was quite aggressive!

And let me say, the pack of bread did not last long!

And when the bread was gone… and the crowd swam away…

There was ONE DUCK LEFT!

And this duck lingered…

…and Lingered….. until it was time to leave.

So all the other ducks swam past a couple of times, hoping to get another nibble, until they decided we were really out of treats, and then they swam on up the canal.

In the meantime, it was a lovely sunny day, and we enjoyed our visit to The Boat and Railway.

The Boat and Railway pub is located in Stoke Works, near Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. (UK).

It turned out to be a pretty good day, and we fulfilled our task of feeding the ducks.
