Hi Everyone,
Today we arrive in Caerphilly.

This morning I am going to treat you to breakfast before we go to the castle… at The Courthouse Pub in Caerphilly…

This is our view from the back patio of the pub, as we are having our breakfast. Isn’t this a fantastic view for breakfast?

They do a FABULOUS Full English Breakfast, I’m sure you will agree… It will fill you up for the whole day.

  1. It is just amazing to me how they built these castles and how massive they are…very interesting tour! Your painting is a great depiction of the castle…Very well done! Love this!

  2. Thank you, this was a fun painting! And yes, it is so amazing about the size of these castles. Inside, they have examples of the huge weapons they used to attack these giant fortresses. They have “seige weapons” in the grounds. There is a huge TREBUCHET (Catapult) and you can see how they used it. Click here for more information: http://www.middle-ages.org.uk/trebuchet.htm
