I sketched this 5×7″ painting with Derwent Watercolor Graphite Pencils

Pembroke Castle was the greatest Norman fortress in Wales.  The history began in 1093.

One of my favorite stories in history is that of Henry Tudor, who was born in Pembroke Castle to Margaret Beaufort. She was a 15-yr-old widow of the Earl of Richmond.  Henry Tudor was exiled to Brittany after the Wars of the Roses.  He swore to return and kill Richard III.

Tomorrow, we visit one of my favorite places in Pembrokeshire, Wales!

Thanks for visiting!
