Yesterday we re-visited the National Trust’s Charlecote Park (again). 🙂
Unfortunately some of the grounds were closed, because they suffered lots of storm damage.
You can read about that HERE.
There is a video you can watch about how the latest UK storms have swept through and damaged some of the property. They are doing their best to clean up and open the whole property and make it safe for visitors.
Seeing this video made me really sad, as the trees are old and majestic. The park is home to loads of deer and other animals. Apparently the damage is going to cost about £12,000 to repair.
On a lighter note, Charlecote Manor was open and we had a good look through. Some of the critters have been hidden throughout the house for the children to find. Children (and adults) are invited to keep a look out for them.
And Now… continuing my paintings in the “National Trust series”, I am adding my watercolor version of Charlecote Manor:
Watercolor and Ink
This is the fifth painting in my “National Trust series”.
Thank you for visiting and I hope you are able to visit Charlecote Park sometime. Click HERE to find all the information about the property.
Thanks for stopping by!
