Dark Side of the Moon

Hi Everyone,

I decided to try the DPW (Daily PaintWorks) Challenge this week.

The challenge this week was “Paint the Night”.

I was sent some really cool photos of the moon that was taken by a phone! When you look at the photos, they are amazing.

This painting is sort of an “abstract” somewhat. I painted it with Derwent Graphite Watercolor Pencils.

Thank you for dropping by!

Telephone Box – an endangered species

Hi Everyone!

I love Britain’s quirky icons! This is a telephone box. I took a pic of it whilst out and about, because I know one day they will be extinct.

I have seen now that they use telephone boxes for cash machines, just like some of them in Stratford-on-Avon.

They still have some phone boxes that they use as phones, but most everyone has a cell phone, or mobile phone.

For this painting I used Derwent InkTense blocks and pencils. Basically it is a watercolor painting.

Post Box Original Painting by Cindy Williams

Hi Everybody!

Today I thought I would use my Derwent InkTense pencils on a painting, so I painted this Post Box.

InkTense pencils and blocks are so easy to use. I love using them, there are so many ways to create art with them!
